Nataša Zavolovšek is a producer and the director of Exodos Ljubljana, Slovenia (www.exodosljubljana.si)

Exodos Ljubljana, established in 1994, is a non-profit, independent theatre and dance production centre. For the past 20 years, it has been organizing the Exodos, International Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, which was one of the biggest international festival for contemporary stage arts in Slovenia. Besides, it produces several new productions by young choreographers and directors every year, and takes care of their presentation in Slovenia and other countries around the world. Exodos is always involved in international development projects (Corners, Theatroskop, Kooperativa, Shared space, Share).

As executive producer or leader of the projects she completed: 50 theatre or dance projects with Slovene and foreign artists, 19 festival editions (Moving Cake, Exodos festival, Transdance Europe festival), organization of 103 touring in Europe and abroad, one real park, the Labyrinth of Art in Ljubljana. In 2012 she was also executive producer for international performing projects in Cultural capital city Maribor 2012. She was coordinator producer for Corners project 2013-2017, One space project 2015-2017 ( Europe, Middle east-Africa) and she was the producer of 1st and 2nd. Summer dance camp In China 2015-2016.  In 2017 she produced first dance coproduction between China and CEEC counties, The Cradle.  At the moment she is the coordinator of new EU: Africa: Middle east project Share 2019-2025

She is/was the board member of the directors of IETM and Asociacija, member of Civil Society Platform for Intercultural Dialogue, Co-founder of Balkan Dance platform, Moving Cake platform and KOOPERATIVA, new Ngo coalition with the aim to create a long-term and sustainable framework for collaboration and development of independent cultural organizations on Balkan. Recently she became a co-director of China-CEEC Dance Union. She is the member of international foundation Femmes sans frontier. 

Before she became director of Exodos Ljubljana, she established Maska production 1999-2001, she  was  freelance producer 1997-1999, working with several Slovene artists. In 1995-1997 working as assistant director in Drama school. Her work involved coordination among pedagogues and students, writing on programs, school promotion and production. She had part-time job as a journalist on Canal A (TV Channel), covering culture and documentary programs. She started her long work in the culture working as a coordinator for Metelkova Network 1990-94, an association that link together the entire nonofficial culture in Ljubljana. Its goal was to create a modern cultural center on the premises of a large military complex. 

She has two degree: on University for social work (1988) and University for political science Ljubljana (1991) She is coming from small town Kocevje in Slovenia, born 1966.
