Iva Sveshtarova and Willy Prager

Iva Sveshtarova and Willy Prager are independent artists working in the field of contemporary dance and performance. They graduated from Theatre Studio „4XC“in Sofia and “Synthetic Stage Arts” at the University of Plovdiv. Iva recently completed MA programme “Choreography and Performance” at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen, Germany and Willy MA SODA in UdK-HZT- Berlin, Germany.

In 2005 they founded Brain Store Project foundation.
In the last 12 years the team has produced around 17 artistic productions. 

Together with Stephan Shtereff, Brain Store Project is founder of the Antistatic International Festival for Contemporary Dance and Performance   (www.antistaticfestival.org) . 

Antistatic started in 2008 as the first festival in Sofia with this profile. In the course of the years,  the festival has established itself as a platform for new forms and practices in dance and performance and till now it has presented more than 150 performances by both emerging and acknowledged international artists.

Parallel to the international artistic programme, ANTISTATIC Festival has hosted also the travelling educational programme Nomad Dance Academy and the platform for emerging Bulgarian dance artists Field of Potentialities. And since 2012 it has been developing the platform for dance theories and practices Without Distance that encompasses a variety of workshops, lectures and talks for professional and non-professional participants and audiences. In 2015 Antistatic Festival hosted the International Advocacy Meeting for Contemporary Dance “Advocates of Dance” which was realized in partnership with Nomad Dance Academy Balkan Network and Life Long Burning – European Network for sustainable development of contemporary dance supported by the EU Programme of Culture.

Since 2018 Antistatic expanded its programme with the new initiative the Bulgarian Dance Platform and in 2019, in partnership with Brain Store Project and Nomad Dance Academy Bulgaria, started to co-produce the first annual  dance magazine in Bulgaria “Magazine for dance'' (www.dancemag.eu)

Brain Store Project is a partner of Nomad Dance Academy network and Life Long Burning, Towards A Sustainable Eco-System for Contemporary Dance in Europe supported by the EU Creative Europe Program, as representative of Nomad Dance Academy network.
